Dr. Patel went to University of Maryland for his undergraduate studies and completed his medical school at West Virginia University. He trained at SUNY Stony Brook for his ophthalmology residency, where he served as the Chief Resident. He completed a prestigious uveitis fellowship with world-renowned expert Dr. Stephen Foster.
